September 10 through October 22, (with no meeting on September 24 to accommodate the three-day workshop. ) After the retreat
of the hot and humid summer, but still warm and comfortable, this is the best weather of the year for painting outdoors, and
the beaches and waterfront sites are so much more accessible after Labor Day. Site planned are: Fort Wetherill and Beavertail
in Jamestown, RI; Sachuest Point in Middletown; Newport's Ocean Drive; Point Judith or Narragansett's Rocky Coast;
and Westport, MA, or Wickford, RI. Offered at a very affordable $95. Sally will offer you tips and then paint along with you.
Each three-hour session will end with a 20-minute critique. Call or email to register. SALLY CASWELL, MFA, BFA, CA, will give a three-day Autumn Drawing and Watercolor Workshop
at One-Hundred Acre Cove, on the border of Barrington, RI and Swansea, MA, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 - 4 p.m.,

If you’ve always wanted to improve your drawing skills along with your paintings, here's
your opportunity to hone your skills in tandem. My lovely salt marsh view and my well-lighted studio will provide you with
just the relaxed setting to practice your drawing and painting skills. You will expand your abilities and explore the elements
of good composition, tonal range and linear variety to create drawings you will love that will provide the structure for inspiring
paintings. Exercises will treat the same subject as a drawing and a painting. Join with a creative group of fellow artists
in expanding your aesthetic horizons. You are invited to register for this workshop by calling Sally Caswell Studio at 508-336-8643,
or by emailing info@sallycaswell.com, to ensure there is space available. Class size is limited, so you are urged to register
